The Food Event in Malibu Had Me At The Restaurant/Chef Lineup
This Sunday, Los Angeles Magazine is holding its sixth annual Food Event in Malibu featuring celebrity chefs, top restaurants, and a long list of wine/beer/spirits tastings. As my go-to Foodie Event Insider, Grub Street Los Angeles, pointed out, the event promises to host a ton of new restaurants, buzzed about chefs and libations galore – all in an amazing location: Malibu’s Saddlerock Ranch, home to Semler and Saddlerock wines.

… and Father’s Office’s Sang Yoon, representing his Lukshon Restaurant which I’ve raved about …
You can see the full lineup of restaurants here – including Farmshop (Jeff Cerciello’s first restaurant after nearly a decade with Thomas Keller), Fonuts (the buzziest baked doughnuts in town), Kate Mantilini (approaching their 25th anniversary in L.A.), Michael’s (the Santa Monica institution and pioneer in farm-to-table cuisine), and Rivera (legendary John Rivera Sedlar’s Latin-inspired restaurant designed to leave its guests “pleasurably transformed”).
Final tip, if you go, wear comfortable shoes as the event takes place on a ranch! Here’s to a very fun foodie Sunday in Malibu …
